Thinking about Presenting?

Hello to all presenters,

Stage One: Call for Papers/Presentations

We will release the Call for Papers in December 2015 and promote in our networks. Please ensure that you are a member of this community and have accessed the Presenter 2016 page. There you will find instructions on how to Submit your Presentation for consideration, and a listing of those presentations that have been accepted.

Please access the Instructions page to copy the content template for your submission.

Stage Two: Preparing for Conference

You will receive further instructions on how to prepare in a separate email, once your submitted presentation has been accepted. If you need further help or do not receive instruction notification, please send an email to Ness Crouch

Stage Three: Waiting in the Wings

One other thing to do is to check your slides for size (no bigger than 30 mb) and where possible upload them to a special Dropbox folder prepared for this purpose. If you have a Slideshare account, please upload your presentation there and be sure to include a link to that location on your final slide.

On the day you may wish to join other presenters and moderators in the OZELIVE Volunteer Lounge just to check if you need any further advice.

Stage Four: Your Presentation

A team member or volunteer moderator will be active in your room 30 minutes prior to your sessions and will help you to upload your slides in the correct place ready for your presentation. They will take care of your audience too with some helpful hints on participation and will introduce you and hand over to you.  They will keep an eye on the time and alert you as you approach the 40 minutes mark - leaving enough time for Q & A and to get to the next presentation.

2015 Online Conference

OZeLive 2015, Ed Tech Down Under

We are pleased to announce the second annual OZeLive, Ed Tech Down Under Conference, a free week-long online event bringing together educators and innovators from around the world. Scheduled for Friday 27th February, Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March

The entire virtual conference will be held online using the Blackboard Collaborate platform with the support of Web 2.0 Labs and The Learning Revolution Project.

The OZeLive Conference is a collaborative, inclusive, international initiative involving educators and innovators across all educational environments from schools, colleges, community centres and higher education. Managed and led by the team of Australia eSeries educators who have scheduled (for the last 4 years) the following free online series:

efacilitate, eT@lking, Eportfolios CoPs, techno languages LIVE, Community Connect, Tech Talk Tuesdays, Edublogs Serendipity and Fine Focus.

OZeLive is designed to provide opportunities for building education-related connections around the globe while supporting cultural awareness and recognition of diversity.

Presenting:

The conference seeks to present ideas, examples, and projects related to connecting educators and classrooms with a strong emphasis on Ed Tech Down Under and connecting with Australian innovative educators.

OZeLive attendees will have opportunities to find out more of our Ed Tech Down Under projects and strategies as well as enjoy presentations from our global educators.

Participants are encouraged to learn, question, co-create new knowledge, and engage in meaningful discussions in the interactive sessions.

This is our first OZeLive and we welcome your participation, collaboration and feedback.
